August 11 is the date of birth of the famous Haïtian singer Cornelia Schütt, AKA Ti-Corn. She was born in Germany and was brought to Haïti by her parents while she was an infant. At a very young age, Ti-Corn developed a passion for the environmental music, which channeled her toward the songs and dances of Haïti.
Cap Haitian is the place of Ti Corn childhood as well as most of her adult life. It’s no wonder that this septentrional metropolis is always proud of her charming daughter who devoted her musical talent to sing and dance Haïti’s natural beauty, and its cultural/folkloric richness.
Cornelia Schütt is the offspring of a German family established in the Northern region of the Island, which was once, one of the richest zones of the nation.
Fluently ease in speaking several languages, Ti corn is a virtuoso in singing juicy creole compositions as well as other songs. Cap Haïtian is the second largest town located in the Northern part of Haiti.
Bon annivèsè/Bon anniversaire/ Alles Gute zum Geburtstag/Happy berthday,
